Can you give some description of what makes that particular brew what it is? Maybe I can find its equivalent here.
Starbucks and places like that usually several a filter coffee instead of a true espresso... and add all kinds of nasty things like whipped cream
Melbourne is well known for the calibre of its coffee and coffee culture. I almost died with laughter when starbucks opened several stores in melbourne. They have since had to close all but a few of them.
I have a cappuccino maker at home, otherwise I purchase them
you just have to try new places until you find a barista that makes a perfect brew.
