    Those shoes are the cats pajamas! I say toss out that brew and get yourself that shoe! It is funny how much we spend on coffee today and here in 1955 I would only get coffee at a diner not everytime I saw a Starbux. In fact, one of the things I have been doing since living in 1955 is NOT going to starbux because, well they didn't exist. I really have been saving money as I always felt I 'deserved' to get one on the way back from shopping or the gym or while I was getting the morning paper etc. It is funny how the advertising and concept of the 'ideal of the coffee house' has pulled us all in to spend more! Especially when you consider a cup of coffee in the 1950s was a nickel and in todays money that would be .39 cents! Three dollars then would have been equivalent to our 21.00 dollars today! That is crazy! I just found that u had this blog as well, very interesting.

    thanks for stopping by... they are great shoes aren't they...

    I wouldn't go to a starbucks if you threatened me with bad fashion for the rest of my life... but yes, i obviously spend quite a bit on it...

    this blog is mostly for my own info so I can be disgusted with how much money I'm wasting...

    Thinking about reducing my coffee by half in March though
